Picked up some quests from these regions. Particularly i felt good about Alterac Mountains because there i found perfect mob to grind – lvl 34+ Ogres With VoidWalker it was pretty easy to take them down. Now on weekend i have planned for more grinding in Alterac Mountain and Arathi Highlands. Actually in Arathi Highlands u can find lots of Raptors who are quite above your level and they after getting killing will help to level your skinning profession. Skinning them mostly provided me with Medium Leather which sells at quite good price on AH. On that note, after started using AH to sell “stuff” now i thingk i can handle gold well!

One more good thing happened was, DemonMight was able to level the tailoring with finally having access to Wool related items and i am hoping to improve both tailoring and skinning in next few weeks. Now with lvl 34, one talent point was put on Destruction tree again to get much awaited talent – Ruin. Yes the name itself makes me use it but had no time so maybe on weekend its going to be Ruin-ed kills near Alterac mountain . Looking at my profile i was happy on one hand to get Ruin and on the other hand, i still have 1/5 Improved Corruption! Can you believe it i don’t have Insta-cast Corruption in my spells arsenal, but yeah now for 4 more levels are going to get me that power! Afterwards, i am planning to proceed with some talents in Afflication tree and again head back to the Destruction. One more concern is i still cannot find good Neck and Head item for my lock. I know its too early for trinklets but much needed to have a head and neck item. With that said, now onwards more focus is going to be balancing stamina and mana pool. Right now DemonMight has 1071 Health and 2107 Mana! I just need to work on that. I have seen it many time when i pull multiple mob, in between getting my ass kicked, i have to drink the health potions just not to die!

One more problem i figured out while playing was using my VoidWalker correctly. What i mean by this is micro-managing my VoidWalker. I am not sure whether ppl know about this but if you don’t know, welcome to the rookie/noob club! I had my VoidWalker talent – Suffering on auto cast. If you see, this has downtime of 2 Mins! OMG that means when i am fighting Dark Iron mobs in Wetlands, i pull single mob and one more comes with that, VoidWalker uses both Suffering and Torment on single mob, one mob goes to VoidWalker, another comes to me! My health is just 1k+ same as Dark Iron mob, oh come on i am down to less than 300 health just from that bastard after the fight is over. At that point you realise to turn of auto cast of Suffering, drag it to your action bar and use it wisely! I know it sound noobies, but yeah i got this at lvl 34!

One thing i want to try with this micro management and my searing pain is to make mob run between me and my pet for some ticks and let my DoTs still damage him. I think its should be possible to make the mob run like this:
Pull mob with some DoT like CoA or  curse like CoW, mob will run to you, send the Voidwalker with Torment on auto cast, idealy mo should start hitting VoidWalker, in meantime u will keep putting more DoTs like Corruption and Immolate. After finishing putting DoTs, cast searing pain till mob start coming towards you, as soon as mob is about to hit you, cast Suffering. Now mob should again start running to VoidWalker. Once he reaches there, cast searing pain again and he will come to you. Now remaining all depends on whether VoidWalker can take the mob away again with Torment or not. I think he should be able to. Meanwhile with you DoTs ticking, there should be some damange to the Mob also and maybe if Mob is on low level you can finish the hunt with ShadowBurn od insta damage spells you have.
Now wait, don’t start barking at me, i know this idea is kind of odd and there are more chances of failing than being successful, but one thing for sure i am gonna try it on weekend and maybe if its successful, u will know. Otherwise leave it, you can anytime nuke the target, afterall you are Warlock!

On Saturday i finally got time to log onto WoW and do some Questing. It was really gr8 weekend for my WoW experience. I am still not able to accomplish the goal i set for my Lock to get to level 40 “as early as possible”. Still questing done on weekend proved beneficial for DemonMight and now he is on level 33 with some good quest rewards and a gr8 active casual guild!

Thats right, i was in search of a active Guild from the start, on Sunday when i teamed up with one girl for leveling and questing in Duskwood, i was able to get an invite for the guild. Its Unreliable, and exactly opposite to the name, ppl here are too good and helpful. Especially i had a talk with the GM and he sounded good to me!

Anyways while doing quests, i was getting feeling that getting from 27 to 30 took way too long maybe because of my negligence but as my lock crossed 30, 3-0 to 33 was almost in one day’s play. I really find this amusing that leveling from 30 – 40 as confirmed with my other lock friends, is quite fast. One thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is, fast leveling is okay but i better get good rewards so that it would be quite simple to get mount at level 40. One concern i have is my lock is sitting on just 8 – 10 g at this level which is kind of bad, if you know any stats as to how much an average player would be having pockets filled at this level, please let me know!

I am still struggling with leveling my Tailoring profession, with numerous types of Worgens in Duskwood, my skinning is getting into good shape. As for tailoring, lock is sitting on 800+ wool right now in banks, but no Linen cloth to get to use the Wool! I tried bidding some 5+ stacks of Linen Cloth on AH, but always somebody always outbids me, i think i should just go ahead and transfer some Linen Cloth from my Hunter Alt.

Oh wait i haven’t told you about my alt rite, yeah i have an Hunter Alt. Basically just made it to see another “Pet Class” in WoW and yes it rocks! Not as much as Lock but still yeah its cool.

Anyways back to Lock’ing . Good news is DemonMight cleared all quests for his level in Duskwood and now headed to Wetlands for some Missing Diplomat. Now i will do some grinding and questing in Wetlands mostly. Also got the quest to summon Felhunter so i am try to finish is as soon as i can on my way to Southshore and of course Thousand Needles. Just by turning quests in Duskwood, DemonMight got lots of money and of course good Blue items. At level 32, DemonMight received some really good spells like hellfire and yes i even used to take down skeletal wardens. What can i say Warlock just rocks!

Anyways, unlike weekend this weekend was too good for DemonMight. I ran Blackfathom Deeps again just get one quest item. Also ran Stockades to complete all remaining quests for that. With this and completing some quests in Ashenvale and Redridge/Duskwood, i was actually clear up the open quest to 10. Althought i did took more quests and now its overflowing with 21 active quests.

During run of Blackfathom Deeps, i also managed to get Ghamoo-ra’s Bind and Rod of the Sleepwalker for DemonMight. Finally some good Blue stuff has started gathering for him . Also partially completed a warlock quest. Now i have to run SFK to completely finish it off. Good thing about this Blackfathom Deeps run was that first time i had the perfect group – Warrior as tank, Holy priest as healer, Shaman, Mage for gr8 CC with me. Mage girl was really happy to use CC and Polymorph the adds/extras and it was working gr8 really! One funny moment was when we were taking Twilight Lord Kelris down, while lighting candles one by one to open access to Aku’mai, elite water elementals were spawned, i as usual was putting DoTs on all enemies starting from from last one to enagage Tank(Of course after letting mob build good aggro on tank), i used Banish on one elemental. Funny thing was i did not notice that was the only elemental remaining and everyone laughed their ass off when they actually were trying to hit Banished elemental and was not working, when they spotted Banish on that it was THE FUNNY MOMENT in that run . Now i am sure not to use Banish without looking at HP bar of all mobs. That run was cool also because i was putting Curse of Tongue lavishly on Acolytes and everybody loved delayed cast of spells . What can i say, Warlocks just Own WoW!

Sunday was also spectacular just because i was able to clear up all quests for Stockades. Even this group was well formed, One Warrior, One healer priest, one shammy, One hunter and me. Although, tank girl was little over-leveled for Stockades, still i was anyways not there for any drops but did enjoy all Cloth drops. That day after Stockades run and questing, i got 4 stacks of 20 Linen Cloth which was fully utilized to get my First Aid leveling to get Wool bandages and Anti-venom recipe. Rest was used up to leveling tailoring. I am really thinking my tailoring is kind of lagging. Have to get it leveled faster i think. After all last 3 week instances, one thing for sure i am trained somewhat for effective use of the spells i have, but more about this maybe in next post till then Adios!

Well path i tried and was finally successfully with was from Menethil Harbor i took boat to Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh. Dustwallow Marsh is level 35 – 45 area if you are wondering. Luckily just day before i had my eyes on this post on Curse Of Boredom and yes i actually followed that fully. In way i sacrificed my VoidWalker twice when i got attacked by level 35+ mobs. I already had myself “Soul Stoned” which i actually had to use once in that very looong run. Finally when i got to Barrens, it was a gr8 feeling.
Truly i like that place and just to play around that place, i would like to create one horde character   Anyways finding Takar the Seer was quite easy, i already had yellow ? on mini-map when i approached that area. I actually had fun in killing those Lizzards in barrens other than that i did not encounter any Horde character there. Ashenvale part to get Heartswood was also king of easy. One thing for sure is when i will finish some quests in Darkshire i am going to go to Ashenvale and do some quests there. I think having some reputation with Darnassus just for fun.

Anyways, i came back to SW and got Succy finally. I am not really sure how much she is of help when leveling in areas like Darkshire where you won’t see much humanoids. Anyways i think her abilities will be more useful in instances for CC. Anyways i am gaining little momentum on finance side, but skinning is not really paying off me as it was paying on Aman’Thul. Lets hope things get better here!

Anyways this weekend for my WoW time was gr8 on Saturday and okay on Sunday. I was really bored of just doing the quests. Basically i had like 12 dungeon quests blocking me to get more. But finally i found the perfect group to do Deadmines run. We had Druid as tank, one Priest healer and 2 hunter and of course my Warlock with Voidwalker . It was really a gr8 run and just 2 of us were dead once at My. Smite and once at Glinid’s place. Otherwise eveybody was doing their job right and we could take down VC in first attempt which was kind of gr8 for others, as for me it was third attempt but finally it was over!
Got really good stuff not just from actual DM instance, but after turning in all quests it was all green plus some really good Blue stuff for Demonmight. Anyways other good news was Demonmight turned 25 (finally). That was the target i had in mind to complete by January end. Now i am looking for 40 as next target.

I am not sure about anyone else, but i am having hard time keeping up good money with me, whatever i earn is spent on training new spells for DemonMight and Voidwalker, i guess i have to use AH more and sell all extra stuff and skinning outcome there! On Sunday, i was invited for SFK which was not really good exp for me! I had to go in between and so got booted which was obvious. I still had some 5-6 quests for Gnomergan and in the Sunday evening found good group with my pally friend Ssbroly. We wiped in the cave which was really lame. I actually ignored what was being told by the NPC and all of us actually dies right there, 2 survived which were overwhelmed by incoming troggs so it was a WIPE! I was really tired afterwards and just left everything, put Demonmight to Inn and went offline. Oh gr8 thing on Sunday was during i was doing quests, my WoW actually crashed! Quite mysterious huh ? i guess i will have to get my system checked for SpyBot and stuff!

Just when we were about to finish, one of my Guild mates announced DeadMines in 10 mins, i was happy that finally i am going to get a good chance for my first Instance. I wanted my first Instance experience to be memorable and man yes it was but not in good sense . Thing is when me and my friend from Wetland just went to Westfall near meeting stone and what we find out is guy from my Guild is logged out. There were few ppl near meeting stone who also seemed to be waiting for some more ppl so i and my friendthought why not just invite them to our group ? And i made the worst mistake of my life.

We called one girl(Some lvl 18 Holy Pally) and 2 guys (one warrior and one shadow priest). We went inside, found out Instance portal, went through ti and there it started. This priest guy was pulling almost all mobs in his viewport and we were actually were having difficulty to cope up with elites and all of mob at a time. Thank god my frnd was also prot Pally, i was having my minion – VoidWalker so we had to tank elites with my frnd and Voidwalker(?), the reason being Priest and Warrior guy were amused just by pulling ppl and bringing them back to us, later they will find out there is too much mob so they actually start killing also.

Still when Rhahk’Zor door came in sight i stopped everybody, asked (mentally)Unbalanced Priest to make a pull only after everybody is ready which he agreed(Miracles do happen ehh ?). So Rhahk’Zor was kind of an easy take, we even got Rhahk’Zor’s Hammer. Pally/warrior must have been real happy to get their first blue piece. When we went to chamber with Sneed and his Shredder we started clearing room filled with Goblins. Here Priest actually got out of hands and accidentally he pulled Shredder also when everybody else was fighting Goblin mobs. I had a pretty good luck so he didn’t come to me, my frnd took over and gathered aggro well.

Now came the surprise, only that Holy Pally girl was doing really gr8 job of healing and seriously i would do anything to play with Her and my Pally frnd again. Back to Sneed, when Shredder was destroyed, Warrior started looting it and Sneed took over that girl, with my DoTs i sent Voidwalker to meet Sneed, didn’t help much because girl had bad armor(even worst than me) and so she was killed, then it was Priest who was sent to Graveyard. Finally remaining were able to kill Sneed. Then all Pally frnd resurrected ppl, all team members were happy again. Me and my frnd was not actually.

We moved to chamber with Gilnid and his friends! This time that girl(Her character name was Tammy by the way), she said brb and priest went on pulling mob like anything, my frnd actually had to blow a pally-bubble to get rid of mob, my Voidwalker tool over, somehow we again managed to kill all and even Gilnid after Tammy came back. I actually had to use some 15 lines to CAPS to get attention of that Priest to make sure he knows how complex Mr. Smite ahead of us can get because of him. Still that guy ran to ramp, pulled Mr. Smite, his guards and started killing Mr. Smite, when 2 guards were after Tammy, my frnd went to rescue her but she was anyways killed.

We actually wiped at that point, later both Priest and Warrior guy said they are really sorry we had to wipe. Rest of us said okay no problem but the point is now i understand exactly why the group members are important above all for Instance . We did not go back to Deadmines. Maybe today i will try to run it again with some good ppl. Hey by the way did i mention, i also got one blue hand stuff for my Lock. I am not wearing it but when i do i will surely let you ppl. I think thats too much of a story of my first Instance experience. Anyways my reason being happy is that my lock levelled well in 2 days, now he is just 20% short to level 24 so maybe today i will try to be there.

I play warlock as my main which can be found here. Okay i know what u r thinking this guy does not even have All Green stuff, Yes thats true i am still fighting for that and hoping to get all green before i satrt my first Instance – Deadmines.

Actually i started playing WOW with Palladin and thought meelay combat is much more fun than spell-casters but man was i wrong! When i first created Warlock and started playing, i knew this is going to be my main and Pally is going as alt. I basically just enjoy all spell-nuking although i cannot actually nuke spells continuously otherwise mob feels me more as threat and comes after me instead of my little(?) VoidWalker protector and tank So i am looking for end-game build like this.

While playing as lock(warlock) i also went through lots of stuff on WowWiki and some really good blogs, found out some cool things and even if i saw affliction tree is good for levelling, i am gonna go with the Destruction tree itself. As of now my lock is at level 20 so i just have a quest to get the Succubus. I will have to go to the Barrens and being Alliance character that seems little difficult for me on my own. But i will try to get some some Guildie to come with me or simply don’t go for it till some level like 25 when i can myself go to the Booty Bay.

Well, usually my attack is planned like this for single mob:
I first send out VoidWalker after the target, at the same time i start putting 3 DoTs – Immolate, Corruption and Curse of Agony on target, later on its just Drain Life spam.
Instead of Drain life, i also try to use my Wand or maybe try Shadow Bolt spam or sometimes even Searing Pain, thought Searing Pain increases my threat a lot

Now a days i am just leveling in Redridge Mountains and having fun with other Guild mates will try to get to the Deadmines as soon as possible.

Anyways first thing that strikes about this is the name of the blog, but i think its good. I think my name is cool so what can be better use of cool name than to use the same for my blog rite ? I am going to try and write things about me as a person, things i do and feel(?) but one thing for sure i will try to keep it funny as far as possible

Said that i am SID as in Siddharth. I work as a Software Engineer in one B’lore based company which mean i am from India. I am not much of a outdoor sports guy, meaning i like to play them but not too much. However, i thoroughly enjoy trying out PC games. I was really addicted to that and now feel like somewhat recovered
So as of now i love to play Table Tennis, swim a lot. On PC side now i am left with only one game – World Of Warcraft.

I think thats enough for today folks, will try to come up with good opening post maybe tomorrow.
